ASSA ABLOY Brisbane Floods Update - 8:00AM 18/01/11

The ASSA ABLOY Brisbane Site has suffered severe water damage as a result of the recent floods in Brisbane. Both R and D and Customer Service areas have been inundated with water, inevitably causing extensive damage. We are currently in the process of cleaning the site and accessing the damage.

In order to service our Brisbane customer base, we have set up a satellite office for our Customer Service Department in South Brisbane. This will be used whilst our site is being recovered. We are pleased to inform you that we are able to receive orders via fax and email however, we are still experiencing difficulties with some phone services although, you will be able to get through on 1300 Lock Up.

Currently the transport pipeline is full and many roads across Queensland remain closed adding to the delays. Every effort is being made by our freight suppliers to clear the backlog.

We appreciate your patience during these difficult times as we endeavour to fulfil our Brisbane customer orders, we are doing everything we can to get back up and running as soon as possible.

If you have an urgent orders please contact customer service via email; CustomerServiceBrisbane@assaabloy.com or by calling 1300 LOCKUP, we will do our upmost to expedite the request.

We will keep you updated on any information regarding our Brisbane site as comes to hand.

ASSA ABLOY Brisbane Floods Update - 5:00PM 13/01/11

Due to the recent flooding in Brisbane the ASSA ABLOY site will remain closed Friday 14th and Monday 17th January. Further updates will be made available 4:30PM Monday 17th January.

As detailed below all customer communications have been redirected to our interstate offices.

With the current situation concerning the Queensland Floods, please be advised that the ASSA ABLOY Brisbane (Rocklea) site will be closed, as a minimum, on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th January 2011.

All communications such as Customer Service telephone lines and faxes have been redirected to our interstate offices.

Regarding customer deliveries to flood affected areas, we will endeavour to work with both our customers and our transport companies to determine the best course of action, although it is anticipated that the overriding majority of these deliveries will be affected and therefore, will not leave Melbourne until decided that it is safe to do so.

We thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.
