The Melbourne Stars are pleased to announce premier partner Yale have extended their partnership for the upcoming WBBL and BBL seasons.

Yale is a part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, the global leader in access solutions, leading the development within door openings and products for access in homes, businesses and institutions.

After partnering with the Stars for last year’s WBBL and BBL seasons, the two-year extension will see the Yale brand present on all player helmets, caps and pants, along with LED signage, digital and fan integrations for the duration of the WBBL and BBL competitions.

The Yale brand has been protecting homes and enabling peace of mind for 180 years, evolving from a mechanical innovator to a leader in connected, smart locks and homes.

Michael Avis, General Manager (Australia) of Yale said "We are delighted to confirm our continued sponsorship of the Melbourne Stars Cricket Club. It was fantastic being part of the Stars family last season and building a genuine positive partnership with the team.”

"We are proud to support a club which shares our commitment to supporting the community and we wish the team great success for the season ahead – we’ll be right there with them."

Melbourne Stars General Manager Blair Crouch added to Avis’s enthusiastic comments,

"We’re building a fantastic story with Yale and we’re delighted to extend the partnership and see it flourish during the upcoming summer. We thank Yale for their support during the pandemic and we look forward to continuing the work done last season to build their connection with the Stars, new customers, family and cricket fans at large." Crouch said.

"It’s an exciting time for the club with our Weber WBBL campaign due to get underway shortly. We are our confident our squad is well placed to achieve success in what should be a great season."

The Stars begin their WBBL|7 campaign in Tasmania against the Sydney Sixers October 14.
